NETFORGE: The Grid, terms of service

These terms apply when you play NETFORGE: The Grid. By installing or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not play the game.

Playing the game

G8DR1CH Studio gives you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the game for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the game or its content, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

The game is free to play and plays fully offline; an account is optional. It shows ads from Google AdMob, as described in the privacy policy, and offers one optional in-app purchase.

REMOVE ADS

REMOVE ADS is a one-time purchase through Google Play. It stops the full-screen ads on the device and account it was bought with; rewarded ads you choose to watch stay available. Google Play handles payment, receipts and refunds under its own terms. A purchase is restored on the same Google account, and for a signed-in player through the cloud save.

Accounts

Signing in (by a code sent to your email, or with your Google account) is optional and turns on cloud saves and the daily and weekly leaderboards (while they are switched on). You are responsible for the account you sign in with. You can delete your account at any time in the game: Account > Delete account removes the account, its cloud save and its leaderboard entries.

The account feature is not meant for children under 13. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these terms where you live, ask a parent or guardian to agree for you.

Leaderboards and fair play

Daily and weekly scores are public: anyone using the game can see display names and scores (see the privacy policy for what the display name is). Every submitted run is replayed on our server before it counts. Do not cheat: do not submit altered runs, automate play, exploit bugs to gain scores, or interfere with the game's servers. We may refuse, remove or reset scores that fail verification or that come from cheating or abuse, and we may suspend or delete accounts that do it.

Your content

Display names come from your account. Do not sign in with an address whose name part is offensive or impersonates someone; we may change or remove such names from the leaderboards.

Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop the game, its online features or parts of them, and we may change these terms. When the terms change in a way that matters, we update the effective date above and, where we can, tell you in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

No warranty and limits of liability

The game is provided as is and as available. We try to keep your progress and the online features working, but we do not promise they will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for lost progress or for indirect or consequential damages, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
